At a time like this when more and more mortuaries are ran by large corporations, Tillman Riverside Mortuary continues to serve their community with the detailed care and the professionalism garnered from over 65 years of experience.

From the time of it’s founding in 1983 by Albert Leon Tillman to the present day, Tillman Riverside Mortuary has remained an unbroken chain of family ownership, serving the community with dignity and respect. Tillman Riverside Mortuary has a reputation for outstanding service and is well respected in the inland empire and surrounding areas. It is the oldest black owned mortuary service in Riverside County.  Mr. Tillman purchased the mortuary in 1983, which was formally known has " Tillie's Funeral Home " . In the year 1995 the building was demolished and rebuilt with a chapel add-on, casket room, and additional office space.  Today Tillman Riverside Mortuary lies in the historic east side of Riverside, as one of the last remaining original buildings from the early 90s era. 

Today, the knowledgeable Tillman team is led by three, experienced managing funeral directors – A. Leon Tillman, LaTanya C. Tillman, & Ashlynne McNeil Tillman, all members of the founding Tillman family. These three skilled funeral and cremation specialist are joined by a detailed, effective, caring team of expert funeral service professionals fully committed to making the cremation and funeral arrangement processes as easy and stress-free as possible.
