Yulondia Carol Lyons (Carol) was born in Frankfurt Germany on March 17, 1957 to Albert and Ruby McDaniel. Carol’s father was in the army which resulted in her attending various elementary schools, Carol also attended Sierra middle school and graduated from LaSierra High School.
On February 8, 1977 Carol married Bradley Lyons, and from that union, they had three children, Tonia Rene Lyons, Bradley Aaron Lyons, and Kevin Anthoney Lyons.
Carol worked for Kaiser Permanente for twenty eight years. She started her career as a customer service representative and retired as an accumulations research specialist. She was known by her co-workers for her excellent singing voice.
Carol’s favorite pastimes were creating stunning handmade decorative boxes for friends and family, gardening, and creating new recipes. Carol loved various arts and crafts and working with her hands. Carol also loved animals including her three pets Bella, Buddy, and Miss Kitty.
Above all, Carol loved her family. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly, and her nieces and nephews as if they were her own. Carol was precious, and selfless.
Carol was a loving mother and grandmother, a caring sister, a devoted wife, daughter, friend and much more.
Carol passed away the morning of February 27, 2024. She will be dearly missed by all those who loved her: Her husband Bradley Lyons; her children Tonia, Aaron, and Kevin Lyons; her grandchildren Anthoney, Bradyn, Xavier, Braelyn, and Julisia; her mother, Ruby McDaniel; two sisters, Jacqueline McLean, and Sheila Castaneda, and an abundance of other relatives and friends. Carol was preceded in death by her father, Albert McDaniel.
