Timothy L. Howard

Timothy L. Howard, age 59, was born February 28, 1962, in Maryville, TN to William Howard and Audrey Chelita Craig. Tim attended Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and Alcoa Elementary in Alcoa, TN before moving to California to live with his father William and stepmother Patsy Howard. While in California, he attended Gage Middle School and Riverside Poly High School where he excelled in football and basketball. He started on the football team at Riverside Community College before an injury side lined his career. He attended Sunday School at Second Baptist church at an early age.

In 1982, Tim returned to the Tennessee and Georgia area where he reestablished acquaintances with family and friends. In February 2020 he returned once again to California where he resided in Apple Valley. Tim was able to meet up with old school friends and meet new family members.

He was preceded in death by his mother Audrey Chelita Craig, grandparents Zelmore and Bernice Howard, Hugh and Pauline Craig, uncles Irvin Howard, Eric and Philip Craig and aunt Margaret Howard.

On August 27, 2021, at 4:30am Tim answered his final call, to come home and rest from this weary life.

He leaves to cherish his memory and homegoing, father William Howard (Apple Valley, CA), step-mother Patsy Howard (Riverside, CA), sisters Sarah (Edward) Watson (Eastvale, CA), Sophia Salter and Beth Grave (Atlanta, GA), brothers Shawn (Denise) Howard (Riverside, CA), Andre Howard (Riverside, CA), Terrance (Trish) Howard (San Bernardino, CA), Benji Yarbrough (Knoxville, TN), uncle Rev. Benjamin Howard (Apple Valley, CA), aunts Sonja Asbury (Alcoa, TN), Agnes Davis (Perris, CA), and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; special cousins William Thompson (Atlanta, GA) and Kathy Thomas (Bellflower, CA).
