Roosevelt DeLeon Knott was a beautiful spirit, embodying strength, love, and humanity. Born on August 29, 1943, he overcame many challenges. He was the beloved son of Susie and Johnny Knott, who preceded him in death. A brilliant mind, Roosevelt DeLeon Knott also possessed a natural athleticism that earned him a scholarship to play football. He ultimately chose to take his talents to Los Angeles, where he found employment with the City of Los Angeles, becoming a sanitation engineer. After thirty Four years of dedicated service, he retired.
He married the love of his life Lillie Knott. Numerous friends, family, and strangers alike adored Roosevelt DeLeon Knott . His generosity, kindness, and unwavering support made a lasting impact on everyone who crossed his path. His humor and laughter filled many hearts, and his presence was a source of comfort and joy.
Though this is a heartbreaking time, we celebrate the life of a man who gave so much of himself to others. His legacy will live on in the love he shared, the lives he touched, and the memories he leaves behind.
