Robert Andrew Briggs, age 78, of Moreno Valley, California, passed away peacefully at his residence on October 17, 2025.

Robert was born on July 16, 1947, in Altadena, California, to Andrew and Eve Briggs. He graduated from Fairfax High School in the class of 1965. Shortly thereafter, Robert proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, including a campaign in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged on March 7, 1971.

During his service, Robert earned several commendations, including the Vietnam Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal, among others, reflecting his courage and dedication to his fellow Marines and to his country.

Robert was preceded in death by his beloved older sister, Jeannie, who passed away in May 2024.

He is survived by his children, Deron, Daryl, Kelsey, and Sam, and by his niece, Allison. He will be remembered as a loving father, a loyal friend, and a man of quiet strength and faith.
