Mollie Marie Gray Hall, 80 of Palm Springs, CA passed away on Thursday September 24, 2020 at Desert Regional Medical Center. She was born May 05, 1940 in Carthage, Texas to the parentage of the late Howard Gray and Willie Mae Holland Gray. She was the first of five children born to this union. Mollie received her early education from West Side Elementary School in Holland's Quarter and graduated Turner High School Class of 1959 in Carthage, TX. Shortly after, she moved to Palm Springs, CA with her daughter where she continued a vibrant life and united in matrimony with Julius Tish Hall. To this union, two children were born. Ms. Mollie was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, Palm Springs for more than five decades serving as an announcement clerk, devotion and bible study leader, and she sang in the choir. She was an exemplary employee of General Telephone Electronics (GTE) for 35 years until she retired in 1996.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard, and Willie Mae Gray; two sisters: Cellie Marie Gray, and Sharon Y. Tatum (Edgar Tatum, Jr.); great nephews Tybioas D. Calhoun.
She leaves to forever cherish her memories~ Children: Wendy Gayle Gray (Travis Bell), Sebastian Clay Hall, Reginald Tish Hall (Tanaya Hall). Grandchildren: Jamaya Hall, Renaya Hall, Sebastion Monte Hall, Amaris Hall, DeAndre Goree (Kim). Great-grandchildren: Seyonna Jenna Lee Hall, Shaley Johnson, Chloe Goree, Kiara Goree. Two brothers, Thomas Howard Gray (Linda,) Winfred Rex Gray (Alice.) Seven nieces: Terretta Gray, Veronica Gray, Shundra Woods, Demetria Franscois (Eric), Cynthia Gray (Bryant), Quinla Tatum, Marocka Ware (Willie), Nephews: Chris Gray Sr, Laymond Gray, Thomas Cole Gray, Moseacke Tatum (Michelle), God-daughter, Linda Collins (John Collins), 20 great nieces, 20 great nephews, 30 great great nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends.
