Pastor Melvin Knighton Sr.

Melvin was born on June 20, 1953, in Los Angeles California to Willie and Margrett Knighton, Melvin was the baby of the family. He met the love of his life Marion (Effie) Davis in August 1973, and they later became husband and wife on January 31st, 1976.

Melvin had a love of music and enjoyed playing the guitar. He was not only a member but a founder of the group T.R.T (The Real Truth).

He was the Father of four children Terri, Angele, Melvin Jr, and Jason Sr. He leaves behind his dedicated loving wife of almost 49 years Marion Knighton, three children Angele Gardner, Melvin Jr and wife Christina, Jason Sr and wife Michelle, 11 grandchildren, Pristyne, Kayla, Whitney, Melvin III, Jason Jr. Imani, Jordan, Samaya, Joshua, Zara and Olivia, two sisters Maxine Swan and Esther Johnson and a host of nieces and nephews.

Preceding Pastor Melvin Knighton Sr in death is his Father Willie Knighton, Mother Margrett Knighton, Brother Don Knighton, and Daughter Terri Blount.
