The Life Story of Kevin Manson

Kevin Lee Manson was born on January 6th, 1991, in Los Angeles, Ca. to Shelley & Karen Manson Jr. He was their first born of four. Kevins parents kept him in sports as a child, where he loved to play basketball and baseball. He attended Davis Elementary School in Hawthorne, Ca., Bret Harte Middle School in Los Angeles, Ca. and graduated from Vista Del Lago High School in Moreno Valley, Ca.

He also accepted Christ at an early age, were he was baptized at Greater Faith Baptist Church which was then under the leadership of Pastor Curtis Monroe Jr.

On June 30th, 2023, Kevin married Erikka Edwards. He met her in a math class. She was a sophomore, and he was a junior. That meeting would become a 16-year relationship. One in which they both took great pride in knowing was started as high school sweethearts.

Kevin was hard working, and a dedicated father who took great pride in taking care of his family. Kevin worked in Security. He also worked as a promoter, event planner, artist and DJ. Kevin also developed his own clothing line “Money Moves”. He was a man of faith. To know him was to love him. Very passionate about his family, and especially protective of his girls. He will be remembered for being the life of the party, who also gave good advice. He was very motivating, and always kept a positive point of view.

Grandfather John Phillips, Grandma Doris Thompson, Grandmother Mary Sumbry-Munerlyn, Grandfather Shelley Manson Sr., Aunt Stephanie Davis and Uncle Danny Davis.
