Eloise Hill

Eloise Hines Hill was born February 19, 1939 in Panama City, Florida to Isiah Hines and Mae Hellen Walker Hines, both have preceded her in death. She was one of eight children; all of her siblings preceded her in death.
Eloise was married to William Hill Jr on September 30th, 1955, and he preceded her in death on 1/1/19. To this union five children were born, Elaine Hill, David Hill, (baby David preceded her in death in 1956), Emmalee Ann Hill, Carmen Darceall Hill Basil and William Hill III (who also preceded her in death in 2020).  She leaves to cherish her memory, three daughters, a daughter in law, two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews as well as friends – including Evelyn Atkins a longtime friend of over 62 years. She was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church for over 50 years.
Mom LOVE her family and was immensely proud of her “Hines” name and faithfully attended the family reunions.  She was a very loving and giving person. She had a quiet spirit but she liked to help people --she was always there for anyone in their time of need. She was very forgiving and didn’t dwell on the negative. She loved to travel and as the wife of an Air Force serviceman, she had the opportunity to travel around the county and over to Europe. Mom loved fashion and was an excellent seamstress—she sewed her own clothes and made clothes for her daughters and other relatives. She also liked to crochet and made blankets for family members. Mom loved to go to the Beach and would go to the beach when ever she could. She also loved to collect recipes and try out new dishes for us to sample. Despite her poor health in her later years, she took life one day at a time and never complained.  She was greatly loved, admired and respected by those who had the privilege of knowing her. 
She will be greatly missed.
