95 Years Of A Life Well Lived!
Dorothy Alderson Clark was born on June 1, 1929 to the union of Arrie Thompson Alderson and Harvey Alderson Sr. in Lillie, Louisiana. She is survived by 2 of 4 children , Russell,Harvey,Beverly and Lamar. She was the third of 10 siblings , Harvey Alderson Jr, Roy Alderson,Betty Alderson Mc Neece, Charles Alderson, John H Alderson, Elsie Alderson Rolfe, Sallie Alderson Jones, Jackie Alderson, and Michael Alderson.
Dorothy joined Fellowship Baptist Church at an early age where she was Baptized under the late Pastor Dr E.B Morgan. She went on to graduate from Fellowship High School in Lillie LA.
After High School Dorothy went on to serve in the United States Army during the Cold War as a Nurse, along with her sister Betty. After the Military Dorothy married Raymond Clark, and to this union 4 children were born, Russell, Harvey, Beverly and Lamar. Dorothy soon relocated with her family to Los Angeles Ca. She retired after working over 30 years as an RN from the VA Hospital. In her 80’s she married R. H. Jones, until his passing.
After retiring she moved to Banning California, and was a long standing member of Trinity Baptist Church in Moreno Valley, Ca under Pastor Dr. Joseph L. Gueste.

Preceded in death by her parents Arrie and Harvey Alderson Sr, Step-Mother Mary Alderson, Son’s Harvey Clark and Lamar Clark. Sister Betty Alderson, Brothers Harvey Alderson, Roy Alderson, and Charles Alderson.
She leaves to cherish her memories, Daughter Beverly Jennings, Son Russell Clark. Siblings Elise Rolfe, Sallie Jones, John Alderson, Jackie Alderson Wallace and Michael Alderson. GrandChildren Alex,Gabriel,LamarJr and Rosie. A host of Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great- gr Grandchild, Many Nieces, Nephews, and Family and Friends. Also Niece Coretta Rolfe who will Cherish her Memory.
