A Celebration of Life
Beatrice Rodgers was born September 11th, 1942 , to her loving parents, Atlas and Maggie Davis. After graduating from high school, Beatrice moved to California, married "Rodgers" and begin her career working at Centinela Hospital as a Phone operator. In 1970 she started working for LA Unified School District and remained there for 33 years, working her way up to
School District Plant manager, retiring in 2003.
Beatrice was very active in her church , CCAME and attended regularly. She also volunteered at the local homeless shelter, feeding the hungry and sharing the love of Christ.
Outside of her fabulous Sunday dinner's, Beatrice loved traveling, reading a good book and going to Vegas. She had a great sense of humor, style and a wonderful smile.
When you think of Beatrice, remember her unconditional love and giving spirit.
Beatrice leaves to mourn her passing, brother, Willie Lee Davis, sister, Hattie Mae Brown, nephew Anthony Campbell (Judith), nieces Beverly Drinkard, Cathy Campbell, grandnephews, Emmit, Jason, Jonathan, Eric, Romeo, Robbie, Bobbie and Quinton. Great-nephews and nieces, Stephyn, Ethyn, Kristi, Zoey, Grayce and The Henry family from Arizona as well as many friends and family who loved her dearly.
